So who is the person behind the camera? 

I am a Christian, wife for 41+ years to a super great (+patient/supportive) guy, mom/mother-in-law to two gorgeous daughters and cool husbands. I am also Mimi to 5 minions!

I started this photography journey around twenty-five years ago but professionally in 2014. Initially I started it for a creative outlet and challenge. I also wanted the flexibility to enjoy Mimi life. 

And I LOVE IT!

I often get asked what my favorite subjects are and hands down…SENIORS! They are “Why I do what I do”.

I want to capture and celebrate each unique senior…what you are interested and passionate about…your authentic self…all sides of your personality and the amazing, beautiful person you are. I want to see and capture the YOU! Great images are the priority but I also want to give each Senior an amazing experience. It’s your time to shine.

I hope you leave this experience as not only a fun celebration milestone but with renewed confidence in yourself and who you were at the time. Do I love to do “out of the box” and challenging sessions? Absolutely. I’m your girl if that is what you want to do. In fact…I have invested in lots of training to be able to create cutting edge images. But ultimately it is up to you what you want your images to be! 

Sports Photography is also a fave. You can find me in the fall/winter on the football, volleyball or basketball sidelines. See a trend here? Yep…tween/high school/college age is where my photography heart is.

Traveling is always on my to-do list. This gig allows me the flexibility/means to make those trips. I also enjoy reading, being creative, spending time with close friends/family, watching sports or binging on movies/TV series, music, finding new ways to challenge myself and meeting new people who become friends.

So what can you expect at a session with me? A light-hearted, relaxed and creative atmosphere and while I will come with a plan, I also go with the flow. This is YOUR session.

I am an Enneagram 3 which means I am pretty organized and goal-oriented. I count that as a good thing. I am also an extroverted introvert. I don’t mind being alone but really enjoy one-on-one interactions as relationships are important too.
